Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has joined Zlatan
Ibrahimović in tenth place in the list of European Cup all-
time scorers while Cristiano Ronaldo is the first to reach 80 goals.

Ibrahimović in tenth place in the list of all-time EuropeanCup scorers.
Benzema has now registered 43 UEFA Champions League
goals following his effort against Shakhtar Donetsk on
Tuesday, the same as Ibrahimović, who is the only player to
have scored for six different clubs in the competition.
Benzema’s strikes, meanwhile, have all come for
Olympique Lyonnais and Real Madrid. He is now a goal
ahead of Alessandro Del Piero, who only ever represented Juventus in Europe.
Cristiano Ronaldo converted two penalties in the second
half and added a third to reach 80 and move ahead of Lionel
Messi at the top of the table, at least until Barcelona visit Roma on Wednesday.
