MAIDUGURI —Fresh multiple explosions have rocked Ajilari Railway cross in Gomari Airport ward of Maiduguri metropolis leaving scores of people dead and many others critically injured according residents living around the affected areas.
Ajilari cross is an outskirt of Maiduguri which has witnessed series of Boko Haram attacks including bombings in recent past.
The explosions which were suspected to have been masterminded by suicide bombers occurred simultaneously
at about 7:38pm, while the last one took place at about 8pm which forced many residents to flee into the city for safety.
A survivor, Mallam Ali Babagana, based in Alilari said on phone that the incident occurred at a popular telecommunication service point where many people gathered to buy GSM recharge cards and transact other
petty businesses.

I saw many shattered bodies of human beings at the scene before I ran away for my dear life,” Babagana said.
Another source said that he heard explosions suspected to have been carried out by some male and female suicide bombers who sneaked into the town from Sambisa forest.

Saturday.
Dikwa and Ngala were captured by terrorists two months ago, but recently the Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai led some troops to recapture the two towns from the insurgents.
Due to poor telecommunications networks in the area, details of casualties on the side of the security operatives and the terrorists were sketchy, but sources said, both sides
suffered severe casualties during the ambush.

How to defeat evil

Unrest and pain and sorrow are the shadows of life. There is no heart in all the world that has not felt the sting of pain,no mind that has not been tossed upon the dark waters of trouble, no  household where great destroyers, deseases and death have not entered, several heart from heart, casting over all the dark pall of sorrow. In the strong, and apparantly indestructible meshes of evil all are more or less fast caught and pain, unhapiness and misfortune wait upon mankind.

With the object of escaping these, men and women rush blindly into innumerable devices and pathways by which they fondly hope to enter into happiness. And to all the happiness sought seems to come and the soul, for a time is lulled into a sweet security and an intoxicating forgotfulness of the existance of evil, but the day of deseases comes at last or some great sorrow, temptation or misfortune breaks suddenly in on the unfortified soul.

Is there then no way of escaping from pain and sorrow? Are there no means by which the bonds of evil may be broken? Is permanent happiness, secure prosperity and abiding peace a foolish dream? No, there is a way and i speak it with gladness, by which evil can be slain forever. There is a process by which diseases, poverty or any adverse condition can be put to and end. There is a by which permanent prosperity can be secured, also a practice by which unbroken and ending peace and bliss can be realized.

It is not enough to pray to God to remove the evil; you must find out why it is there an what lesson it has for you. You must understand yourself. You must cease to be a disobiedient child in the school of experience, and must begin to learn with humility and patience, the leasons that are set for your edification and ultimate perfection. Evil is an experience in your own heart and by patiently examining and rectifying your own heart, you will gradualy move into the discovery of the origin and necessary be followed by its complete eradication.

An evil is rooted in ignorance and as long as we remain in ignorance, we remain a subject of evil. There is no evil in life that is not a result of ignorance. If you are willing to learn its lessons, it will lead you to a higher wisdom and then vanish away. You will be positive to mould your own circumstances to translate all evil to good and to wave with a master hand the fabric of your destiny.
